INFORMATION ON THE ACCESS FEE IN VENICE

On the days April 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 2024, May 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26 2024, June 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30 2024 and July 6, 7, 13 and 14 2024, entry to the city of Venice is subject to payment of an access fee, unless the visitor falls into one of the categories that entitle them to exemption from payment. The access fee is not charged from 4.00 p.m. to 8.30 a.m. Registering and obtaining the appropriate exemption voucher is required to benefit from the exemption. Residents of the Municipality of Venice and individuals born in the Municipality of Venice are excluded from paying the access fee: they are not required to obtain the exemption voucher and can prove their exemption status by presenting a document certifying it. Minors under the age of 14 are excluded from the payment of the access fee: to prove their age, if it is not apparent, the presentation of an identity document is accepted as sufficient proof. Holders of the European Disability Card and their accompanying person are entitled to the exemption status on presentation of the Disability Card, and no registration on the portal is required. Members of the Armed Forces and the Police (including the Fire Brigade) are entitled to the exemption status on presentation of their service card. More information here

You can reach Riva degli Schiavoni in about half an hour from Punta Sabbioni. You can reach the centre of this beautiful town from this strategic point and thus discover the history it has to offer, from the famous San Marco Square with its impressive Basilica, the Palazzo Ducale and the San Marco bell tower. One of the museums of this central area of Venice, the Archaeological Museum is a must see to continue your journey in the direction of the Correr Museum, exactly located on the opposite side of the Square next to the Basilica.
